I may deny your commission if I have an issue with the request, character, commissioner, or other matter. I am not required to give you an explanation as to why.
TERMS OF SERVICE
By engaging in business with Batmanholecover, you agree to the following:
Any and all invoices from Batmanholecover must be fully paid before the finalized commission will be distributed. Batmanholecover must receive the initial requested funds before any work may begin on the commission. Paypal will be used for all transactions. Any and all work-in-progress material may not be distributed by the client until after completion of the commission. The client may not request a refund beyond the approval of the first sketch. Unless permission is granted by Batmanholecover, the client may not distribute the image on social media sites until after the image is first posted on social media sites by Batmanholecover. The ‘Batmanholecover’ watermark may not be removed from any completed works. Violation of any of the terms of service may result in the termination of business with Batmanholecover.
Regarding payment:
I will request an estimate of 30% of the commission price immediately as an upfront payment. I will take the rest after the commission is completed. Alternatively, the full price of the commission may be transacted upfront, if agreed upon by the client. If I am for some reason unable to complete your commission after the upfront payment, the client is entitled to a refund of the upfront payment.
Edits are available throughout the drawing process as I give the client updates on the drawing status via work-in-progress images. After the drawing is completed, excessive or extreme edits will cost extra. Price will be negotiated upon based on the complexity of the edits.
Backgrounds may be negotiated upon depending on complexity. Backgrounds will cost $10.00 USD at minimum. Simple backgrounds, such as gradients, will not cost extra.
Prices are per character.
If a reference, or some kind of illustration, of the character is not provided, the total price of the piece will have $5.00 USD added to it.
Expect art to be delivered within at most 8 weeks of initial payment.
